Swinging for steelhead may not be for everyone, but if you want to do it, do it with Josh. From helping getting your casting down to the next level, to bringing you to the swingiest runs you've ever seen, Josh does it all. I went on a winter steelheading trip where we were tested by the non-cooperation of the fish to eat our flies, however, Josh did everything in his power to put us onto fish including going to 4 different bodies of water in 3 days as well throwing numerous different flies he tied himself, changing tips, etc. Josh knows the bodies of water he fishes and he can guarantee that you will fish them as well as you possibly can. The rest is up to the steelhead to make the decision to grab. Josh is extremely patient and keeps spirits up even if you haven't gotten any action, and this is an extremely important quality to have as you may go a long time without connecting with an adult steelhead on the swing, much more so than floating with an indicator. I really enjoyed my 3 days with Josh and will definitely go steelheading with him again!
